Special Correspondent, New Delhi: On the eve of Republic Day, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal lashed out at the Central Government at the Republic Day function organized by Delhi Government at Chhatrasal Stadium on Wednesday. Expressing concern over the increasing strain in the relations between the Center and the State Governments, the dispute between the Central Government and the Judiciary and the growing interference of the Governors/Lt. told. Referring to the development works done by his government in the last 5-7 years, the CM also told how Delhi is now leaving behind the big cities of the country and the world in many respects.

Kejriwal said that for the last few years, China is showing eyes to us and is occupying our land. Still we are increasing our trade with China. In 2020 we bought $ 65 billion worth of goods from China and in 2021 $ 95 billion worth of goods. With the same money China is buying more weapons, recruiting soldiers and attacking us. Our soldiers are fighting China on the border and giving a befitting reply to it, but it is also our duty to support them shoulder to shoulder in this fight by boycotting Chinese goods, so that a strong message goes to China.

Chief Minister Kejriwal took the salute of the parade, counted the achievements of the Delhi government
The CM said that to solve the problems of different states, we should learn from each other, but are fighting among themselves. I see that nowadays they are fighting with the judiciary and the judges as well. Fighting with all the state governments. Not allowing anyone to work. This does not send a good message to the country. If we work together, then no one can stop our country from becoming the number one country in the world.

Kejriwal claimed that 12 lakh businessmen and industrialists of India have left their country and gone abroad in the last 5-6 years due to wrong policies, systems and agencies. It was difficult for him to do business in his country. How will the country progress like this? For the last few years, we are seeing that democracy has also started getting affected. In our country, the people and the elected governments of the people are supreme, but now even democracy is being mocked. Without naming anyone, he said that in a state the people’s elected government made laws for the welfare of the people, but the governor was not signing them. In another state, the Chief Minister wrote a letter to the governor to convene an assembly session, but the governor refused to approve the session. Today the whole country needs to think whether there is a dark shadow falling on our democracy and how to deal with it. Demanding the central government to remove the GST imposed on everyday food items, the CM hoped that this would help in controlling inflation. He also stressed on the simplification of the GST system.
