Athiya Shetty, daughter of Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, married Indian cricketer K.L. Married to Rahul on 23 January. The couple took seven rounds with the Krishna hymn Achyutam Keshavam Krishna Damodaram. The wedding photos of both of them started going viral as soon as they surfaced. The couple looked very beautiful in these pictures. Recently Sunil Shetty has posted something, which is going viral.
Suniel Shetty shared a picture of the newly wed couple on his Instagram along with a note, captioning it as, “A hand to hold and a reason to believe because sometimes there’s one person in the right place and love.” And faith, congratulations and blessings my kids Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul.” Athiya commented on the post, “Love you with a red heart emoji.” Sonu Sood said “Congratulations Anna.” All the family members were present in the wedding as well as many big personalities including Ajay Devgan and Ishant Sharma, Varun Aaron also attended the wedding. On the other hand, Krishna Shroff and Arjun Kapoor’s sister Anshula Kapoor and Diana Penty were present with the bride. After marriage, Sunil Shetty had said that just as Ahaan is my son, similarly KL Rahul is also like my son. There is nothing like father-in-law and son-in-law in this. Because I have been playing the role of a father very well. Now that they are married, I have officially become the father-in-law.
Athiya and K.L. Rahul first met and hooked up through a common friend, meanwhile the two kept their relationship private. Fans finally realized their romance when designer Vikram Phadnis teased Athiya about it on social media. Many times Athiya was also spotted with KL Rahul in his international cricket matches. Athiya was seen for the first time in 2015 in the film ‘Hero’. He was also seen in the films ‘Mubarakan’ and ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’.
