New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday greeted the countrymen on National Voters’ Day and called upon voters to strengthen democracy through active participation in elections. National Voters’ Day is celebrated every year on 25 January to mark the foundation day of the Election Commission.
He said in a tweet, “Best wishes on National Voters Day. Inspired by this year’s theme ‘Voting is Incredible, I Must Vote’, let us all work together to further strengthen active participation in elections and strengthen our democracy. I also appreciate the efforts of the Election Commission in this area.
