Mahindra XUV400 Electric Booking: Electric car lovers will get a new option from January 26. Yes, on this day Mahindra is going to start booking its first electric SUV XUV400. The company will start its booking in 34 cities. The company has launched it in two variants EC and EL. The ex-showroom price of its base variant is Rs 15.99 lakh and the top variant is priced at Rs 18.99 lakh. However, these are its introductory prices. Only the first 5 thousand customers will get the benefit of this. According to the company’s claim, it will run up to 456 km on a single charge. Whereas, its top-speed is 160 km/h. It will compete directly with the Tata Nexon Electric in the Indian market.
0 to 100Km/h speed in 8.3 seconds
Mahindra has claimed the fastest acceleration in a non-luxury segment car. He says that it catches the speed of 0 to 100 km / h in 8.3 seconds. The company is offering a warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000 kms for the battery pack and motor of this SUV. Mahindra has also claimed that it will deliver 20,000 units of the XUV400 to customers within a year of its launch.
Mahindra XUV400 Battery Pack
The Mahindra XUV400 EC is the lower variant and draws power from a 34.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which is capable of generating 150PS of power and 310 Nm of torque. It gives a range of 375 km on a single charge. It also comes with 3.3 kW and 7.2 kW chargers as options. The higher variant XUV400 EL, on the other hand, is powered by a 39.4 kWh lithium-ion battery, which is capable of generating 150 PS of power and 310 Nm of torque. This EV gives a range of 456 km on a single charge. This variant comes with a 7.2 kW charger.
More than 60 connectivity features
Mahindra XUV400 Electric will also be able to connect smart watches with more than 60 class leading connectivity features. 2600MM wheelbase, 378 liters of boot space, electric steering, throttle and regeneration response system will also be available. Copper will also be found inserted in the new LED tail lamp. The widest C-segment vehicle will get 3 intelligent driving modes including sporty mode. The car with 4200 overall length with 1821MM width is also dust and water proof. Overall, this electric SUV will be advanced and hi-tech.
Tata Nexon EV competition
Mahindra XUV400 will compete directly with Tata Nexon EV. It is currently the best selling electric car in India.
