A glimpse of the Mahabharata period was seen in Haryana’s tableau, in which Lord Krishna is preaching the Gita to Arjuna riding on a chariot. Ahead is the grand form of Lord Krishna which, according to mythology, was shown by him to Arjuna.

Lord Krishna’s teachings to Arjuna during the battle of Mahabharata and his ‘Viraat Swaroop’ form the centerpiece of the tableau brought out by Haryana in the country’s 74th Republic Day parade. A glimpse of the Mahabharata period was seen in Haryana’s tableau, in which Lord Krishna is preaching the Gita to Arjuna riding a chariot. Ahead is the grand form of Lord Krishna which, according to mythology, was shown by him to Arjuna.
According to the information given by the Ministry of Defence, the scenes of the Mahabharata period have been depicted in the tableau. An official said that this tableau is also giving sermons from Bhagavad Gita and many scenes from the Mahabharata period have been depicted in a beautiful manner. International Geeta Mahotsav is organized every year in Kurukshetra, Haryana.
