The world’s largest frog has been found in Australia. Its weight is 2.7 kg. It is named Toddzilla because of its large size and weight. Although the frog of this species is called Cane Toad. The rangers who have found it in Australia say that it could be the world’s largest frog. In 1991, a pet frog from Sweden was recorded as the largest frog. Its weight was 2.6 kg.
Rangers of Australia’s Conway National Park caught this frog and took it with them. They say that a frog of this size can eat anything which would not be good for the ecosystem. Although these frogs are found in South America, but in 1935 the British took them to Australia to eliminate sugarcane insects.
